In the land of metal and hardcore, originality is difficult to achieve. If you sound hard and rough; you're another Pantera, and if your front man can actually sing you sound like Faith No More. These are two ingredients of the Amsterdam fellowship CANCELLED. To be original is one thing, to be good another. This is where the band scores better. The formation is extremely tight on their first EP, and rivals in quality the average American metal band that DOES sell out the Heineken Music Hall. It's an unfair world, but if bands like this get support from the Dutch National Pop Institute that might level out a bit. Hint? (Music Minded – NL – April 2003 by Ruben Eg)
