Cancelled (CND) is a young band that kicked it very far and fast in the Dutch music bizz. After they recorded their first demo, in November 2001, they immediately got asked to open for the Canadian band Kittie. This was their first gig and the response from the audience was huge. The Aardschok and Mojo Concerts chose them as one of the 25 most promising bands of Holland in April 2002. To give that some more power they went on a short tour to the Czech Rep. and Slovakia. They finally went to the studio to record their first single, 'Abstained', in November 2002. The sound of the band is a mix between System of a Down (especially the drums are very alike), Machine Head and Incubus. And I totally agree with the Aardschok and Mojo that this is a very promising young band. It all sounds VERY promising and it’s sad that the CD only contains 3 songs, because they taste for more! At this time they started their tour to promote their CD, and I have to say; "go watch them if you have the chance, it will for sure be worth it!". (De Rockmusicsite – BE – April 2003)
