I don't know any bands as of yet that would have gone to the same musical line as Biohazard. But this Amsterdam 5 piece does it with style. The 4-song self-produced EP Plankton kicks you straight in the balls with their melodic thrash. And to be completely honest: Cancelled does not fall under the shadow of Biohazard. Cancelled themselves say that they've been compared to Pantera and Tool... There where Biohazard gets stuck on chewing on the same ideas and riffs, Cancelled go way beyond them with much thanks to their singer's (Yoav Zouker) vocals. This is the first recording from the group, who have only been together for a year and this is a very promising start... Songs like 'A Martyr Suicide' and 'S.O.S' are songs you are bound to be humming after hearing them. The beauty with this band is that they could easily be signed to a major label. With a bit of fine tuning we can be sure to hear a lot from them in the future. (Inferno - Finland - March 2002 by Tero Salonen - 7/10)
