Dutch unsigned pride? With names like Yoav Zouker, Sky Hahn, Joeri van Hilten, Robert Bouws en Daan Vonk it is an international group. Cancelled's homebase is Amsterdam, city with a lively nu-metal scene, not so much because of the number of operating bands there, but there is definately a scene. Possibly those combinations contribute to the fact that Cancelled is a hit-to-be. The recently new Demo-CD is the first medal on the wall, with its sound somewhere between Godsmack, Ill Nino and Vex Red and vocalist Yoav Zouker knows his Jonathan Davis-tricks, so a mixture of frustrations, emotions, dynamics and weltschmerz are mingled in the songs.
