With members like Sky Hahn (ex-Mac-11), bassist Joeri van Hilten (ex-Bloodsessions) and guitarist Daan Vonk (Ex-Motherfed), CANCELLED has a promising line-up. The Amsterdam-based quintet sounds a lot more varied than the bands they've earned their reputations from. The metal is still very present, but more recent influences, like Alice In Chains and Deftones give the music the necessary dynamic. CANCELLED themselves call it "Dynamic Trash", which comes down to what Machine Head have been trying to do lately. CANCELLED makes it sound less forced, though.
